Get ready for a season filled with fresh produce, artisan goods, handmade art, and live music. This year’s East Town Association’s Cathedral Square Market will return to Cathedral Square Park, promising an extended season with new and exciting features.
Extended Season and Programming
- Market will run from June 1 to Oct. 12, excluding July 20, which will be reserved for Bastille Days
- 5 themed markets throughout the season, each with specialized programming and vendors
- yoga sessions every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
One of the highlights of this season will be the inclusion of five themed markets, each with its own unique programming and vendors. These events are designed to cater to specific interests and demographics, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Themed Markets
- Father’s Day Market (June 15): Special programming and vendors celebrating fatherhood
- Pet Day Market (Aug. 3): Vendors and activities catering to pet owners and animal lovers
- Kids’ Day Market (Aug. 17): Interactive games, face painting, and kid-friendly entertainment
- Cathedral Square Mercado (Sept. 7): A celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, featuring food, music, and culture
- Fall Days Market (Oct. 12): Seasonal produce, crafts, and music to welcome the fall season

Live Local Music
“Local musicians will perform each Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m..” This promises to be a wonderful addition to the market, with a diverse range of music to enjoy throughout the summer.

Yoga and Exercise Classes
Each Sunday Market will begin with a yoga session from 9 to 10 a.m., courtesy of the Wisconsin Athletic Club. This is a great opportunity to start the day with some mindfulness and relaxation.
For those interested in trying out something new each week, the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee will host group exercise sessions from 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. These sessions will include a variety of activities such as Zumba, Body Circuit, Tai Chi, and more.
